Mr. Gothard has practiced casualty litigation in state and federal court for thirty years, representing the victims of personal injury. He has represented hundreds of individuals who sustained personal injury in motor vehicle collisions and as the result of medical malpractice. Since that time, Mr. Gothard has expanded his extensive litigation experience to commercial litigation, particularly in the telecommunications field.

Mr. Gothard has served as a Board member and Officer for numerous non-profit organizations in Louisiana. In 2004 he received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the Louisiana State Bar Association in recognition of his public service.
