Gothard (Partner)
Mr. Gothard has litigated matters in both state and
federal court for over fifteen (15) years. Initially, Mr. Gothard
practiced primarily in the area of insurance defense. In 1997, he
merged his practice with the law firm of Nowalsky & Bronston, LLP
to form Nowalsky, Bronston
& Gothard, APLLC. Since that time, Mr. Gothard
has utilized his extensive background in insurance defense to expand
his practice into handling primarily plaintiff personal injury
matters, such as auto, medical malpractice, admiralty and premises
liability, as well as general civil litigation.
Mr. Gothard enjoys an “AV” rating in the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory which is the highest rating an attorney
may receive from that publication and is based upon the collective
opinion of his peers. He is an accomplished trial lawyer and utilizes
his vast experience in handling defense matters in order to maximize
results for his plaintiff personal injury clients.
Mr. Gothard has written and lectured on numerous
litigation topics and regularly teaches and attends trial advocacy
seminars. He is a member of the Louisiana, Federal and American Bar
Associations and is an active participant in the Louisiana Trial
Lawyers Association. Mr. Gothard is a graduate of Brandeis University
and Loyola Law School.
